Skyline Updates
11/28/2025
As winter weather is predicted, please remember that Skyline does not allow street parking in the winter. This allows the snowplows access to our roads. If you are concerned about the plows coming into your grass, you can put up markers at the edge of your lawn. If you have any concerns about plowing over the winter, please reach out to Eric Manske, his contact information is on the cityofskyline.com website.
We will be participating in Christmas light recycling again this year. A drop box will be placed by the plastic recycling bins at the park next week. If you have a bigger donation, you can contact the city clerk, skylineclerk@gmail.com to drop them at the city hall garage. Please reference this website for information. https://www.blueearthcountymn.gov/1451/Recycle-Around-The-Holidays
Thank you to all the volunteers and donations to create an ice rink at Vetter Park. We ask that after they begin flooding the rink (hopefully beginning of next week) that everyone stay off the ice until the all clear is given. Please help by letting your kids know that staying off the ice for a few extra days at the beginning will ensure a full winter of ice skating.
