HIRING: Water Meter Reader

Water meters will be read again on March 15 and we hope to find a new water reader before then so they can train with our current neighbor, Kathy, before she moves.
Water Meter Reader Job Description
Job duties:
1. Gather water meter readings from meter “touch pads” on outside walls of 65 houses using a hand-held electronic device.
2. Walk from house to house to gather readings on South Skyline Drive, East/West Skyline Court and Skyline Place.
3. Read meters 6 times a year (January, March, May, July, September, November).
4. Enter readings into the Google spreadsheet that calculates water usage for each house.
5. Report meter problems to City Council member in charge of the Water Department.
Salary: $660/year
